Description

Ferulic acid is an antioxidant found in the cell walls of plants such as rice, oats and the seeds of apples and oranges. When used in skin care products, it helps to protect overall skin integrity by reducing the development of fine lines, spots, and wrinkles. It has antioxidant properties. Acts as a synergistic with other antioxidants especially vitamin C and E, prevents damages to skin cells caused by ultraviolet light, reduces inflammation and has anti-irritant properties. Repairs and protects damaged skin cells, making it superb for formulating products for damaged skin, protects the skin from pollution and radiation, which can lead to wrinkles.
